 Zaylai Books

Because we are specialists, we pick just the BEST

About us:

Zaylai Books (ZB), is the trading arm of Zaylai Foundation, (www.zaylaifoundation.org) which is a charity organization dedicated to setting up and supporting libraries in Africa.  ZB is specialist books supplier to schools and libraries and its aim is to provide; unique, quality and enjoyable shelf ready books from Arabic, Somali and Religion (Islam) backgrounds (in Arabic, Somali and English language as well as bilinguals).

Because of our cultural and lingual links with the Arab world and Somalia, and our passion and knowledge in literatures from these countries, we are confident that we can provide our clients the most appropriate books.   Our current list include diverse range of books from award winning authors, distinctively rare materials, to bestsellers, bilinguals, and translations of popular Western fiction books and many more, from all across the world.

Currently, most of our books are children's, (in Arabic, Somali, Bilinguals and English languages), however, we stock good size of adult books too and it is still growing.

Also, our library services include; readership development through community engagement campaigns and consultancy services.  Currently, we are planning to launch a joint (Libraries and Zaylai Books) book promotion campaign, specifically targeting the hard-to-reach communities including the Arabic and the Somali speaking communities.  Because of resources limitation, we will run 12 campaigns in each year with library authorities (one campaign in each month). This will be offered to library authorities on first come first service basis.
